Description

With the help of Excel Migration it is possible to transfer data from another application into BrokerStar.


Instructions


First upload the empty Excel template:

Empty template: BrokerStar_ImportTemplate_EMPTY_v6.6.xlsx

Please fill in this file with your data according to the corresponding specifications. Example:  BrokerStar_ImportTemplate_EXAMPLE_v6.6.xlsx

In order to be able to carry out the import, please go to the "Admin Area" under "Excel-Export" to "BrokerStar Migration".

You can now select the file and the system will automatically import it for you. 

Benefits

This file was created for the complete migration of data and files into BrokerStar.
It simplifies the import, because the data can be filled manually or filled from another system.

Good to know

  1. Each data record has a unique ID. In most cases, this must be filled in to map the relations.
  2. Fields with a red background must be filled in.
  3. Values for selection fields must be written exactly the same as in the brokerStar (see https://public.brokerstar.biz). Otherwise new entries for the selection field will be created.
  4. Some fields have stored notes, which can contain important information.
  5. If the field is left empty, the default value is used (default value can be found in the notes).
