Splitting of License Plate "OLD License plate"
With today's release, the field with the license plate number is now divided into two fields (canton and number).
We will automatically migrate (i.e. split and transfer) the license plates already recorded for you.
Where data has been entered incorrectly, the automatic migration can occasionally cause problems.
Examples of incorrect entries:
Incorrect Entry | Correct recording |

| "U" for companies at the canton or at the number | entry "dealer" in the field "type of sign |
| Numbers which have more than 6 digits | check number |
| ZH 123 in new field number | ZH is placed in the front field, the number in the back |
The "old" field content was saved before the migration and is displayed to you as an "OLD license plate" when you edit a vehicle:
WMC will check all installation for incorrect entries in the next few days. We will check the following errors:
- the "old" number does not match the "new" number
- the canton could not be verified
- the number contains more than 6 digit
If required, we will send you a list of the vehicles concerned, which will have to be revised manually.
