Convert PDF from BrokerStar correctly into Word
Description
This new service for BrokerStar can be purchased. It is made available in BrokerStar to enable the requirements of being able to edit a PDF generated in BrokerStar. For this purpose, a so-called Adobe API was implemented, which allows this procedure.
Without the Adobe service, a conversion of a PDF created in BrokerStar into a Word document is possible, but the display is different and the further processing is limited, due to the format originally used for the creation.

Benefits
If, for example, you would like to prepare a year-end report, a policy summary or a report that is otherwise only used for internal purposes in a customer-compliant manner, we recommend that you use this service.
It is also possible to add individual text passages to a report or to merge them with other documents and to format them easily.
Good to know
- In order to be able to use this service, we ask you to order it from our support or sales department. Please ask our support for this.
- You do not have to set anything in BrokerStar after activation.
- Attention: a "counter" runs which deducts the number of pages created from your quota.
- The deduction is made per page, not per document.
- After the quota has been used up, you can simply order a new package via the WMC, which will be activated by the WMC.
Restrictions
- At present, when generating Word documents with this service, annoying error messages still appear, but these can simply be clicked away and do not affect the service itself.
- When the limit on the number of conversions is reached or the limit is set to 0, the Word is generated conventionally again. You will be informed with a warning box. Please order a new package if necessary.
