E-Mailing

Configuration

1. To set up e-mailing, go to your profile and click on "Change mail options":

2. Now enter your account data from your mail provider. Please contact your technical support for this.

3. Please inform the WMC hotline that you are using the e-mailing functionality in your installation so that WMC can activate automatic synchronization.

Use

Now you can create and send the e-mail. After sending, the e-mail remains open. Click on E-Mailing to enter the e-mail list. The message can be created from the main menu or directly from the contact or policy.

Benefits

The E-Mailing module offers the user the possibility to send and receive e-mails directly from the program. The sent or received message is automatically assigned by the system directly to the right contact or even policy.

Good to know:

  1. E-mails are filed directly with the customer or the policy if there is a reference:

    E-mail address is recognized because it is available in the address book; subject line: Policy number in square brackets [xxx] → E-mail is filed with the corresponding policy.

  2. The synchronization takes place automatically every 5 minutes.
  3. Outgoing e-mails are not synchronized.
  4. STMP + IMAP must be supported for synchronization to be possible.
  5. E-mails can be sent directly from the word processor. A PDF is then automatically generated.

Limitations

  1. Mass sending is not possible.
  2. Templates cannot be created and used.
  3. Signatures cannot be stored.
  4. Variables are not supported.
